A Peek Behind the Hedge, Logan Leone

Owner & Founder, Logan Tay
Meet Logan Leone, the charismatic founder of Logan Tay, her eponymous fashion jewelry brand launched in 2017. Logan's longtime love affair with the ocean, plus, her penchant for beach-inspired jewelry (you'll never find her without a great bracelet stack) always went hand-in-hand but a surf trip to Hawaii sealed the deal -- a brand was born.
With roots in Jupiter, Logan, along with her new husband, and Labrador puppy, are now based in Palm Beach, as is the Logan Tay showroom. Read along to see what's next for Logan, how she stays grounded, and of course, be sure to snag your own Logan Tay pieces for the season ahead.
You’re originally from Jupiter, and grew up, as evident from your brand, loving the water. Can you describe how your love of ‘salt & sand’ inspired you to launch Logan Tay?
Logan: Well, it all started during surf trips to Hawaii. I was inspired by the amazing beachy jewelry I found there and felt there was a gap in the market back home for that style. I wanted to create something that resonated with the beachy lifestyle—pieces that you could wear to the beach but that also embody the laid-back, coastal vibe. That love of ‘salt & sand’ was the driving force behind launching Logan Tay.

Have you always been a jewelry person? What’s your typical mix on any given day?
Logan: I’ve always loved fashion to my core, starting at a young age. Headbands, glasses, belts, scarves, necklaces, earrings, hats—you name it, and I wore it! Accessories have always been my favorite way to express myself. On any given day, my typical mix includes 3 to 4 necklaces stacked at different lengths, an arm full of bangles and beaded bracelets, a few rings, and usually some type of hoop earrings.

You’re from Jupiter originally, and your husband is also from the area. Is Florida forever? As a newlywed, what experiences are you most looking forward to recreating with a family of your own one day?
Logan: Florida is definitely forever. I can’t wait to start a family here and share the experiences I love most—bringing our kids to the beach, teaching them to surf, skating around the neighborhood, and e-biking up to the beach. We’re so fortunate to have our families nearby, and I look forward to creating memories together. There’s so much I’m excited about, but for now, we’re busy with our new Labrador puppy—getting in plenty of training and laughs!
Logan Tay has a cult following. What do you think it is about the brand’s ethos that resonates so strongly with customers?
Logan: I believe our brand resonates because it’s genuine and authentic—we’re not trying to be something we’re not. Every customer who walks through our doors is treated like family. We have fun, but we also work hard, and I think that balance really shines through. In today’s world, I think people are drawn to that kind of mindset—real, down-to-earth, and purpose-driven. It’s about creating a community that feels like home.

As a female founder in this culture, it’s easy to get swept up in comparison and the idea that it’s “never enough”. How have you preserved your sense of self, and grace?
Logan: I love this question. Comparison is such a trap, and I truly believe it comes from a place of negativity that doesn’t serve us. I constantly remind myself that I am enough and focus on the blessings in my life. Grace is key. I remind myself that I’m on no one else’s timeline, and the pressure I feel often comes from within. Everyone’s journey is unique, and that’s what makes it beautiful. Most importantly, I have faith in Jesus and trust that His plan is the best plan for me.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Logan: Someone once told me that there will always be someone better than you, and that’s okay—we need those people to inspire us and help us grow.

What’s next for the brand? Would you ever consider expanding into additional categories?
Logan: Funny you ask! Make sure to follow us on instagram @logantay for our biggest announcement yet ( maybe a new category ;) )
