Founder & Owner, Casa Cristalle

Lissette Abreu Cabrera is the founder of Casa Cristalle, a Northwood Village boutique in West Palm Beach celebrated for its refined curation of heirloom tabletop, fine china, and exceptional gifts. She has established Casa Cristalle as a destination for those who value heritage, beauty, and the art of gathering.

Guided by a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and timeless design, Lissette works closely with clients to build, expand, and complete collections that feel personal and enduring—cultivating a legacy rooted in purposeful living. This philosophy is captured in the brand’s guiding ethos: where elegance meets tradition and commerce meets compassion, one tablescape at a time.

Rooted in the belief that the objects we gather around matter, Casa Cristalle blends beauty with intention while quietly supporting philanthropic initiatives that give back to the local community and beyond. Meet Lissette.

Casa Cristalle has become such a go-to for beautiful gifts and tableware in West Palm Beach. What first inspired you to open the boutique?

Casa Cristalle was inspired by a lifelong appreciation for gathering, hosting, and the details that make moments feel special.  I noticed a gap locally for a space that celebrated fine china and tableware in a way that felt both elevated and approachable, where pieces could be meaningful, collectible, and still used every day. I wanted to create a boutique that honored tradition while fitting seamlessly into modern life.

You’re especially known for your stunning collection of fine china. What is it about china that you love so much, and how do you decide which pieces to bring into the shop?

I didn’t grow up with formal tables or fine china, but I always noticed them. To me, they represented intention, warmth, and a sense of togetherness that felt special and meaningful. Casa Cristalle was born from a desire to bring back the importance of gathering around the dinner table within families. Each piece carries history, whether it’s newly made or vintage and I love that it becomes part of someone else’s story. When selecting pieces for the shop, I look for designs that feel timeless, versatile, and well-crafted.

There’s something so special about a thoughtfully set table. Why do you think people are still drawn to these traditions, even as so much of life has become “casual”?

In a world that’s become increasingly casual and fast-paced, I find that setting a table is a way to slow down and connect. It is a way to express creativity and care for guests and loved ones. It allows simple gatherings to feel more meaningful when there’s intention involved through thoughtfulness and details.

How do you see Casa Cristalle fitting into the broader Palm Beach and West Palm Beach community, not just as a shop, but as a resource for hosts, brides, and gift-givers?

Beyond being a boutique, Casa Cristalle is a resource for hosts, brides, and gift-givers. We offer bridal registries and help clients build collections that feel personal and enduring, whether for a first home, a wedding, or a growing family tradition.

Our audience values shopping locally and intentionally. What does supporting local businesses, and being part of Privet’s new business membership program mean to you as a founder?

Being part of Privet represents collaboration, shared values, and supporting fellow founders. I believe that shopping locally strengthens the community, and I love being part of a network that celebrates intentional business and thoughtful consumption.

What tablescape trends or hosting trends are currently inspiring you?

I am currently loving mixing brands. For instance, a popular collection we carry is the cabbage collection from Bordallo Pinheiro. These cabbage items come in green, pink, and white and go great with the Spode Blue and Green Italian pieces.
I always encourage clients to build collections that are timeless rather than trend-driven. Mixing and matching, such as swapping a dessert plate or charger, keeps a table feeling fresh while remaining classic. Sentimental, layered tables that evolve over time are what truly inspire me.

When a client is selecting a gift or building a china collection, what advice do you always share with them?

I always advise them to choose a timeless collection, pieces they will never get bored of and designs that can be mixed, layered, and eventually passed down. A great collection grows with you.

If you were setting the perfect Palm Beach table, what are three elements you’d never skip?

Color is essential: palm trees, florals, prints, bamboo accents, and layered china. Palm Beach tables should feel joyful, vibrant, and full of life.

When you’re not in the shop, where do you love to find inspiration around town?

I’m constantly inspired by historic hotels like The Breakers and The Colony- places rich with tradition, elegance, and a sense of timeless Palm Beach style.
